Brenda and Christopher’s Wedding

I had some great weddings this year and want to post about the second to last one I did. It was in a beautiful location, Lake Windsor Golf Course that I guess is quite famous in Madison for being so glorious, but that I had no idea existed.

I was so happy to photograph Brenda and Christopher in such a great location and it turned out to be better than I expected. After everyone had eaten and the sun was beginning to set, the couple, Hartmut (my assistant) and I hopped on a couple golf carts and tooled around the course. I’m so happy with the photos and was thrilled in Brenda’s spirit and Christopher’s happy willingness to try whatever ideas we came up with. I hope they have a beautiful solid marriage and continue to inspire other with their love for each other.
So without further ado, I present Mr. and Mrs. Thorne!

Julia’s Dance Recital

Julia Gulia (not her real name but my favorite nickname) is one of my favorite people on the planet. I’ve know her for-e-ver (well as long as she’s concerned) and she’s a huge sweet pea.

I took some pics at her dance recital, but the ones I love best I took outside of the theater (the old historic Al Ringling Theater in Baraboo) I included some of the pics I took of her dancing but I forgot to bring my flash so they’re a bit grainy, but still capture the cuteness of 5 year old girls dancing.

Well here are the ones I wanted to share with you. It was such a beautiful night…

ps, the photos that are just her face are all her own poses, I couldn’t believe the stuff she was coming up with!
